These houses are inadequate shelters. Each one is compiled from simple sketches of more or less small homesteads. Houses reflect our first need for survival, and our social perception of that need is distorted. Various shelters are researched and sketched and re-sketched obsessively. This series was designed to sublimated the energy of living in and maintaining a home.
